Christian leads design, delivery, vision, and execution of customer service strategies. Prior to HomeX, Christian was Director of Customer Service and Trust and Safety at Kijiji Canada, where he facilitated trusted connections between site users by employing risk management operations, customer care operations, and outreach community relations. Earlier, he was Head of Customer Service at eBay Canada, where he launched and managed a customer care and trust and safety team following the introduction of a French version of eBay.ca in Canada.
Christian has a MBA in Management and Finance from Université Laval and a Bachelor’s of Commerce from Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Chambéry. In his free time, Christian enjoys running, biking, and hiking.

Matt is Chief Technology Officer at HomeX. He joined the HomeX Applied Science team in 2019. For the last year, he led the Platform Engineering team, and is now responsible for IT and security & compliance functions.
Prior to joining HomeX, Matt spent almost 6 years at Amazon, where he developed workflows to support general knowledge question answering capabilities for Amazon’s Alexa virtual assistant, which was first launched with the Echo smart speaker in 2014. Following the success of Alexa in the US and UK markets, Matt and his team of software and knowledge engineers developed Alexa’s ability to answer questions in multiple languages as Alexa launched in marketplaces across the globe.
Matt holds a BEng in Electronic and Software Engineering from the University of Birmingham. He now lives in Cambridge, UK. When he’s not working, Matt enjoys spending time in the Cambridgeshire countryside with his wife and their 2 children.
Avery is Head of Product at HomeX, where she focuses on creating a seamless experience that leverages technology to make managing homes and systems easy and worry-free.
Throughout her career, Avery has been passionate about delivering amazing customer-driven experiences that solve real problems and create true value. Prior to HomeX, Avery served as Director of Product Management in Home Vertical Experiences at Walmart eCommerce, helping millions of customers create living spaces that they love. Avery also spent several years prior at eBay as Lead Product Manager in Structured Data, steering structured data strategy to power future eBay shopping experiences, and in Consumer Selling to create experiences and tools to help individual sellers achieve success in a diverse marketplace.
Avery earned an MBA in Marketing and Decision Sciences from Duke University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Amherst College. Raised in the suburbs outside of Chicago, Avery currently resides in San Francisco. In her free time, Avery enjoys travelling, yoga, hiking with her dog, and exploring new restaurants in the Bay Area.
