Are sloping floors in older homes normal?
Sloping floors are common in older houses, and also in new houses from only 15 to 30 years old. Sloping floors are often caused by normal and acceptable deviation (foot) on the wooden circles that make up the structure of the floor. The steep points of the floor, however, can be an indication of a structural problem that requires attention.
