Can a homeowner do their own electrical work in Oregon?

Within six months of final approval, a homeowner cannot do electrical work on a dwelling that is currently for sale, lease, rent or exchange. If you don't own or live in the house, a State of Oregon licensed electrical contractor must do the work.
