Can I knock down a wall in my house?

Most of the time, no. Before you knock it down, you should confirm that the wall isn't load bearing. Is that correct? If you don't put in temporary supports, the house will collapse if you remove the studs from the load bearing wall. If it's not a load-bearing wall, you can remove the studs.
