Customers can paint their counters if they do not paint black and do not paint on counters, glass or any identification number.
Can I get my gas meter moved for free?
If all of this applies, you may be able to move the free gas meter. You will need to contact us to check.
Can you move your gas meter outside?
The answer depends on where you want to move it. If you move it just within a meter of your original location, your power provider should be the first call point. If you want to move it out or to a completely different place, you will need to contact the gas conveyor or electric power distributor.
Can I turn my own gas back on?
Once you've passed the valve, don't turn it on. It needs to be lit by a gas company technician. The gas company probably has to do a pressure test in the system and re-plug all the pilot lights in the house as part of turning on the gas.
