Can I use 4 ohm speakers on a 8 ohm amp?

It's almost certain, unless the rating indicates a very low impedance at some frequencies. The nominal values are 4 ohms and 8. Is that correct? It is not advisable to use a 4 ohm speaker with a tube amplifier designed for an 8 ohm speaker.
