Can I use two wax rings on a toilet?

An extra-thick wax ring can be used to make up the difference if the toilet's floor height is less than a quarter of an inch above the flooring. This setup tends to leak, so don't stack up two wax rings. The wax ring should be placed on the closet flange. If the height flange of the toilet floor is slightly less than 14 inches above the floor, you can use an extra-large wax ring to make up for the difference. Do not feel tempted to stack two wax rings because this configuration tends to filter. Put the wax ring in the closet flange, not in the bathroom.
