Can you put baking soda and vinegar in the toilet tank?

The water should be removed from the tank. 2 cups of Dawn, a cup of vinegar, and a cup of baking soda are added. It's a good idea to give it another scrub to get the gunk off. The water should be turned on and the tank flushed out.
