Can you solder pipe with water in it?
Don't solder pipes that have water in them. It is nearly impossible to solder a joint in a pipe that has a small amount of water. The copper won't get hot enough to melt the solder because most of the heat goes into turning the water to steam. A pipe plug can be used to stop the trickle of water.
