Can you thread NPT into BSPP?

In most situations that do not have high pressure, a male NPT connection can be rolled in a female BSPP connection, using the teflon tape to seal. Please note that because the male NPT connection is conical, it will be rolled a little more in the right threaded female BSPP connection.
