Do you have to have one radiator without a thermostat?

The normal practice is to leave a radiator without a thermostatic valve installed and leave the appliance permanently in place. If the boiler is equipped with a flow meter that detects when all radiator valves are closed, you can install a VRT on each radiator, if you wish.
