Does a lamp or light use more power?

Generally, a lamp uses less watt (power), but actually depends on the power of the lamps involved. For example, if you have a table lamp with two 100W lamps, you obviously use less power than a ceiling lamp with a single 100W lamp. The amount of power used by a lamp depends on the amount of lamps involved. A ceiling lamp with a single 100W bulb uses less power than a table lamp with two 100W bulbs.
