Does Drano work past the P trap?
Liquid Drano works well, but if you want to back up more stuff, you might want to send the log further in your pipes. If you can't find anything obvious, I would take the "P" trap apart and clean it out. If you want to remove the trap, be sure to put a big bowl beneath it.
