Does water pressure go up when heating on?

When the heating is on, the pressure on your boiler gauge will increase. Is this true? During its heating cycle, your boiler should not rise more than 1 bar. There's a good chance that there's a fault with the expansion vessel or pressure release valve if your boiler heats up more than 1 bar during start up.
