How can you test a coil pack?

Try the coil with a multiple. Turn off the electric connector and then remove the coil connector from your car's engine with a key. Set the range of ohmetermultitimeter to 200 ohms and turn it on. Using a meter of lead, apply the sail cable terminal to each coil.
