How close to high voltage power lines is safe?

Anyone trying to figure out how close they can come to a power line is not recommended by BPA. If you are under a line, never put yourself or any object higher than 14 feet above the ground. The minimum safe clearance for each operating age is specified in the National Electrical Safety Code.
