How common are evaporation lines?

Evaporation lines are common on pregnancy tests but may not appear every time. An evaporation line appears in the window results of a pregnancy test once the urine is dry. It can leave a weak and colorless line. If you're unfamiliar with evaporation lines, you may see one and think you're pregnant.
