How do i blacken my stove grates?

A cup of ammonia is needed for a measuring cup. Seal the bag with a wire twist-tie or tight overhand knot by pouring ammonia in it. The fumes of ammonia will break grease, oils and food particles as the grate remains in the bag. Put on gloves and safety glasses.
