How do I convert meters to tons?

Cubic meters don't naturally convert into tons since the two units measure different properties. Therefore, you'll have to use density to make the two units equivalent. Find the density of your unit and multiply it by its volume to determine its mass. Then, divide the mass of the unit in kilograms by 907.18 to convert it to tons.
