How do I install a volume damper?
Open the duct work and drill two holes into the opposite edges of the tube. These holes should be aligned with the pre-perforated holes in the damper. Remove the damper closures, connect it to the duct through these holes and into the drilled holes, and tighten. Then seal both sides with adhesive tape.
