How do I replace a Evaporator Thermistor in a Window Air Conditioner?

The temperature sensor is mounted on the evaporator. The temperature of the evaporator is monitored to detect frost. A wire harness connection is used to communicate the temperature to the control board. If the temperature is communicated through the thermistor, the electronic control board will detect the frost. The electronic control will not be able to detect and eliminate frost if the thermistor is malfunctioning. If the thermistor doesn't detect the temperature, you should replace it.
