How do I replace a Grease Filter in a Range Hood?

The grease filters use screens to remove grease particles from the air stream. If the screens become laden with grease, remove the grease filters and wash them in the dishwasher or warm soapy water. When cleaning the grease filters, follow the directions in the owner's manual. Grease filters can't be cleaned properly if they are damaged or caked with grease.
