How do I replace a Hydraulic Pump in a Log Splitter?

The log splitter has a pump that extends the cylinder and wedge. When pumping fluid, the pump starts leaking through worn seals. The pump fails to build up enough pressure to move the wedges. The pump seals need to be replaced if they are worn out. The internal pump failure can cause the hydraulic pump to seize up. You should replace the pump if it seizes up.
