How do I troubleshoot Electrolux Iq-Touch Dryer that has a Motor that is not starting?

A tripped thermal protector can be caused by overloading. Before restarting the dryer, reduce the load and allow the motor to cool off. If the drum doesn't turn by hand, remove the load from the dryer and see if the dryer restarts. Take the dryer out and look at the drive system. Remove damaged drive components. The motor wire harness needs to be looked at. If the wire harness is damaged, you should replace it. You may need to replace the drive motor if the drive system and wire harness are okay.
