How do I troubleshoot Ge Gfw Front-Load Washer that is displaying 8 error code?

Make sure the water supply faucets for the washer are open if the washer isn't filling. Plug the power cord if the water supply valves are open. The water supply hoses should be disconnected from the back of the washer. The inlet water valve screens have deposits. If the inlet water valves are not working, they should be replaced. If debris gets into the valve, it will leak and cause a flood in your house, so don't clean the screens. If the inlet water screens are clear, place the ends of the water supply hoses in a bucket and open the water supply faucets to see if the water flows through the hoses. If the water doesn't flow through the supply hoses, it's time to check the hoses. Check the wire harness connections between the control board and the inlet water valves if the water goes through the supply hoses. Remove any wires that are loose. The inlet water valves will need to be replaced if the wiring connections are okay. The air hose between the bottom of the tub and the electronic control board should be checked if the washer fills. If the air hose is loose, you should connect it. If the air hose is damaged, replace it. The electronic control board has a water level sensor and should be replaced if the air hose is okay.
