How do I troubleshoot Ge Gtw Top-Load Washer that has a Water Overflow Error?

Check the air hose between the bottom of the tub and the electronic control board if you don'tplug the washer. The air hose can be loosened. If the air hose is damaged, you should replace it. The electronic control board should be replaced if the air hose is not okay. The power cord can be unplugged and the tub can fill with water. If it does, the inlet water valve needs to be replaced.

If the power cord is unplugged, check to see if the tub fills with water. An inlet water valve is leaking if it does. Check the air hose between the bottom of the tub and the electronic control board if the tub doesn't fill with water when you plug the washer. If the air hose is loose, connect it. If the air hose is damaged or pinched, you should replace it. The electronic control board should be replaced if the air hose is okay.
