How do I troubleshoot Kenmore 665 Model Freestanding Range that has a Oven Temperature Sensor that is defective?

Disconnect power or unplug the range. Reconnect any loose wires on the oven temperature sensor wire harness. Replace the wire harness if it's damaged. Measure the oven temperature sensor resistance using a volt/ohm meter. If the resistance isn't 1080 ohms at 70F, replace the oven temperature sensor. If the oven temperature sensor resistance and wire harness connections are okay, replace the electronic oven control.
