How do I troubleshoot Kenmore He Dishwasher that has a Water Inlet Valve that is failed?

Unplug the dishwasher. The toe and front access panels need to be removed. The water inlet valve has wire harness connections. Remove any loose wires. If the wire harness is damaged, replace it. Use a multimeter to check the resistance of the water inlet valve if the wire harness connections are okay. You can measure the resistance through the water inlet valve. The water inlet valve should be replaced if you measure infinite resistance. The control board needs to be replaced if the problem continues.
