How do I troubleshoot Kenmore He5 Steam Front-Load Washer that is displaying F61 or F65 error code?

The steamer electronic control board has wire harness connections to the main electronic control board. If the wire harness is damaged, you should replace it. The steamer electronic control board needs to be replaced if the wire harness connections are okay. To clear the error code after the replacement of the steamer electronic control board, run the diagnostic test cycle. Plug in the washer and close the door to enter the test. With the tub empty and the control off, select any one key except Stop/Cancel or Control Lock and press the key in this pattern: press and hold for 3 seconds, release, press and hold for 3 seconds, and hold for 3 seconds. The control will show the last stored error code after the 5th iteration. Move past any other saved error codes by pressing the same key. The control can display up to four error codes. You can enter the diagnostic test cycle by pressing the same selected key after you display all of the saved error codes. All green console lights will turn on for 5 seconds after the version numbers of the control boards are displayed. The test cycle starts with the washer. As the test progresses, C:00 through C:09 will appear in the display. After a few minutes the control will shut off. The washer can be used again.
