How do I troubleshoot Kenmore Hybrid Dryer that has a Compressor Inlet Thermistor that is failed?

Check the compressor inlet thermistor wiring when you unplug the dryer. Remove any loose wires. If the wire harness is damaged, replace it. The compressor inlet thermistor has resistance. At room temperature, it should measure about 10,000 ohms. If the thermistor is malfunctioning, replace it. If the compressor inlet thermistor and wiring are okay, replace the main control board.
