Check the wire harness connections between the electronic control board and the inlet thermistor. If the wire harness is damaged, you should replace it. Measure the resistance through the inlet thermistor if wire connections are okay. At room temperature, you should measure 50,000 ohms. The inlet thermistor/high limit thermostat assembly should be replaced if you measure infinite resistance or zero resistance.
