How do I troubleshoot Samsung Dryer that has a Thermistor that is defective?

You can check the resistance of the thermistor by unplugging the dryer. The thermistor's resistance should be 10K ohms at room temperature. The thermistor's resistance should be no higher than 40K ohms. If the thermistor's resistance is normal, check the wire harness and replace it if necessary. The electronic control board should be replaced if the wire harness is not okay.
