How do I troubleshoot Whirlpool Duet Sport Front-Load Washer that is displaying F23 error code?

Check the wire harness between the main control board and the heating element when you unplug the washer. If the wire harness is damaged, you can connect it or replace it. Measure resistance with a multimeter if the wire connections are ok. You should measure the resistance using the heating element. If you measure infinite resistance the heating element is broken.
