How do you add voltage?

A summing amplifier is an electronic circuit that adds voltages. A summing amplifier has two inputs and an output that is different from the two input voltages. If one of the inputs is less than 1.0 V and the other is more than 1.5 V, the output will be less than 2.5 V.
