How do you anchor a boat for a hurricane?

Shaffner uses a broom handle to twist the tie-down anchor. He says to tie the boat to the trailer. Lower a fixed lift 2 feet, tie the boat as if it were in a slip, and raise the lift to put tension on the lines. Make sure the boat is secured to the lift.
