How do you calculate pressure drop in a pipe fitting?

The Le/D method simply increases the factor. L/D is by a length of straight pipe. The name "equivalent length" refers to the fact that the pressure drop would be equivalent to the losses in the fittings. The factor is (L+Le)/D.
