How do you cap off a sewer pipe?

At the point where the end cap is going to be installed, mark the existing sewer pipe. Use a handsaw or hacksaw to cut the mark on the pipe. A straight cut through the pipe is needed. Remove all plastic burrs with a workman's knife.
