How do you check a bad fuel pump?

Pull the fuel pump's fuse out to see if it is broken or burned, before you check it. Make sure the charge that's leaving the fuse gets to the pump by checking the voltage at the pump. If this looks okay, then you should perform a fuel pressure test.
