How do you clean a faucet with vinegar and filters?

Attach a plastic bag filled with 1/3 to 1/2 cup vinegar to the faucet spigots. It should be left for two or three hours. To remove loosened deposits, use an old toothbrush. To remove stubborn areas, use a paste of salt and white distilled vinegar.
