How do you clean a stinky sink drain?

Run hot tap water for a few seconds, and then turn the water off, when you pour baking soda and vinegar down the drain. After dumping one cup of baking soda down the drain, add two cups of hot vinegar. Let the mixture do its job. The drain needs to be flushed with hot tap water.
