How do you clean kitchen sink drain pipe?

If your sink begins draining slowly or develops an odor, you can add 1/2 cup of baking soda and 1/2 cup of distilled white vinegar to the pipe. If you want the mixture to work in the pipe, close or cover the drain. To clean the drain, pour boiling water down it.
