How do you connect a float switch to a water pump?
The neutral wire from the panel will be connected to the neutral wire from the pump. The ground wire from the panel will be connected to the ground wire from the pump. You need the hot wire from the panel and the hot wire from the pump. There are two legs to the float switch.
