How do you connect pvc pipe to septic tank?

The pipe must be inserted into the inlet opening of the tank. If you locate the pipe far enough into the tank, incoming waste water doesn't follow the tank wall down but free-falls out of the pipe. The pipe needs to be at least 6 inches from the baffle.
