How do you find the volume of air in a pipe?

The formula for the height of the cylinder is: height + cylinder volume. If you want to use a pipe's length instead of its height, you have to use its volume. If a pipe is fully filled with it, the volume of the pipe is the same as the volume of liquid inside.
