How do you fix a bad gfci outlet?

The test and reset buttons are pressed. The indicator light must be replaced if it does not come back on or if the GFCI cannot be reset. Before you start your project, turn off the power. Make sure the rating of your GFCI is in line with the rating of the wiring and breaker.
