How do you fix a leaking sprinkler system?

To correct the leak, use a saw to cut a 4-inch section of the line to the leak. Place a clamp at one end of the line, insert or match, then tighten or match. Place a clamp at the second end of the tube, extend or match when inserting or matching into the coupling, then tighten or match. To fix the leak, use a hacksaw. There is a section of line that is leaking. Place a lock on one of the ends and tighten it. If you want to insert the nipple into the pipe, you have to tighten the clamps on the second pipe end.
