How do you get a broken pipe out?
To get all four points to bite at the same time, you have to insert the proper size extractor straight into the hole. The stud or screw can be removed by turning the extractor counter-clockwise with a wrench. It's possible that a light tap with a hammer is needed to seat the extractor.
