How do you read a good cook meat thermometer?

It is good to measure the temperature in thin and thick foods. While cooking, instant-read thermometers cannot stay in the food. The stem should be placed two to two and a half inches deep in the food. If you want to read the temperature, wait 15 to 20 seconds.
