How do you remove a breaker from an electrical panel?
Shut off the branch circuit breakers at the same time. The main circuit breaker needs to be shut off. To make sure the wires are dead, test them with a voltage tester. The panel cover has to be removed. Remove the wire from the load terminal's breaker.
