How do you remove a screw cap from a toilet?

Between the bolt cap and the base of the toilet, place a flathead screwdriver. Press down on the handle of the screwdriver to get rid of the cap. If it doesn't pop off in one attempt, you have to work your way around the cap. The process for all other bolt caps on the toilet should be repeated.
